Food Quality Control Real Time PCR Assays

Series of real-time PCR based assays by IST Innuscreen are dedicated to food and water safety. They can be used with most commercially available thermocyclers and real-time thermocyclers. Assays include internal control and provide fast analysis (in 1 hour). Reagents are lyophilized for easy PCR set up. Also, reagents are shipped at room temperature.

2. Animal Species Assays

Assays are designed to identify undeclared ingredients of animal origin in food. Provide fast detection of pork, beef, donkey, goat, chicken, turkey or fish DNA. Sensitivity of the assays reach up to 1 pg DNA/PCR Reaction.

3. Water Pathogen Assay

Assays innuDETECT Water Pathogen enables detection of water contaminating bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens or Yersinia enterocolitica. Sesitivity is assay specific in range between 1-10 DNA copies/PCR or depending on the background of the negative control.

4. Internal Control DNA/RNA Assay

Internal Control DNA/RNA Assay enables detection of internal controls. HEX channel reposting and compatibility with all commercially available real-time rapidPCR thermocyclers and with PCR thermocyclers with HEX channel detection make the assay accessible multiplex application tool.

Main Features:

• Detection of internal DNA and RNA carrier mix controls from nucleic acid purification kits
• Sensitivity: detection of fluorescence and of IC DNA or IC RNA
• Detection time: rapid qPCR (qTOWER): approx. 50 min., Standard qPCR (qTOWER 2.0 or TOptical): approx. 2 h
