innuPREP Proteinase K

• Recombinant protease with endo- and exoproteolytic activity

• Pre-lysis enzymatic tool for disruption of bacterial cell walls
• For bacteria, which are hard-to-lyse (Streptococcus spp., Lactobacillus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Bacillus spp. and Clostridium spp.)
• Compatible with IST Innuscreen extraction chemistry
• Starting material: up to 2 x 10⁹ of bacteria cells, gram+ or gram- bacteria
• Average yield: depends on the amount of starting material and bacteria cell conditions
• Lysis time: approx. 30 minutes
