Long PCR Polymerases

Takara LA Taq Polymerase combines Taq DNA polymerase and proofreading polymerase, with 3’→5’ exonuclease activity. This mixture allows very accurate amplification of long DNA templates.

Main features:

• Taq DNA Polymerase and DNA proofreading polymerase

• Optimized for very long DNA templates
• Increased fidelity thanks to the proofreader
• Extension of up to 48 kb long templates
• Terminal transferase activity (3’-A overhang)
• Suitable for AT-rich and GC-rich sequences

• Contains mix of Takara LA Taq and proofreading polymerase and separate tubes of optimized buffer (Mg²⁺ free), MgCl₂, and dNTPs

TaKaRa LA Taq® DNA Polymerase (Mg²⁺ plus buffer)

• Contains mix of Takara LA Taq and proofreading polymerase and separate tubes of optimized buffer (Mg2+ plus) and dNTPs
