Western Blot Blocking Buffer
Suppresses non-specific signals is critical to obtaining clear, specific Western blot results. TaKaRa Bio offers several specialized, ready-to-use blocking buffers.
1) Western BLoT Blocking Buffer (Protein Free)
- completely chemically defined and free of protein components
- Provides higher sensitivity than other commonly used blocking agents (nonfat milk)
- Excellent for detection of phosphorylated proteins
2) The Western BLoT Blocking Buffer (Fish Gelatin)
- Blocking reagent of fish origin
- It is less likely to cross-react with mammalian antibodies than conventional blocking reagents, such as nonfat milk or BSA
