qPCR Human Reference Total RNA
Series of species-specific reference total RNA provides broad coverage, since they are pooled RNA extracts from different tissues. Human Reference total RNA can be used for gene expression analysis. Controls are suitable to be compared with Microarrays or qPCR data obtained from experiments and can be used also as internal controls.
Main features:
- Broadest possible gene representation: made by pooling the total RNA extracts from whole human tissues
- Minimal lot-to-lot variation: RNA mixes prepared on an industrial scale
- Less gene-to- gene signal variation
- Virtually free of genomic DNA
STANDARD VERSIONS:
qPCR Human Reference Total RNA
- Total RNA collected from human adult tissues, female and male tissues were used
Rat Universal Reference Total RNA
- Total RNAs from a collection of adult rat tissues
Mouse Universal Reference Total RNA
- Mixture of total RNAs from a collection of adult mouse tissues
qPCR Human Reference cDNA
Takara cDNA reference is made out of pool of total RNAs obtained from different tissues. This enables broad gene coverage. Lot-to-lot variation of reference cDNA is minimal because the RNA source is prepared on an industrial scale.
Main features:
- Broad gene coverage: more accurate standardization than what is obtained with housekeeping genes
- Made from human tissues, not cultured cell lines: better gene representation with less variation
- A high-performance standard for quantitative PCR
- Virtually free of genomic DNA
STANDARD VERSIONS:
qPCR Human Reference cDNA, Random-primed
- cDNAs prepared from a mixture of total RNAs collected from adult normal human tissues
qPCR Human Reference cDNA, Oligo(dT)-primed
- cDNAs prepared from a mixture of total RNAs collected from adult normal human tissues
External Standard Kit (Lambda PolyA)
Standard is designed as external reference for qPCR normalization. The kit contains the reference RNA (λ polyA+ RNA-A) and primers for real-time PCR detection. It is possible to combine the kit with intercalating green dye for qPCR detection.
Main features:
- External reference for real-time RT-PCR experiments
- 1.0 kb polyA-containing RNA
- For eukaryotic gene expression studies by real-time RT-PCR
- Can be combined with intercalating green dye
STANDARD VERSIONS:
External Standard Kit (Lambda PolyA) for qPCR
- Supplied as kit containing: λ polyA+ RNA-A, primers and dilution buffer
