Manual RNA Extraction

RNA extraction from various starting materials

Wide range of kits for effective isolation of RNA from different sample types. Kits use patented Dual-Chemistry Technology for rapid lysis and efficient binding. Extraction method is based on the use of Spin Filters or Magnetic beads.

1) SPIN FILTER-BASED EXTRACTION

blackPREP Tick DNA/RNA Kit

  • Simultaneous isolation of DNA and RNA from ticks
  • Starting material: Ticks
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and quantity of the sample used
  • Extraction time: Less than 1 hour (including lysis)

innuPREP RNA Mini Kit 2.0

  • All-rounder kit for the extraction of total RNA
  • Starting material: Tissue, eukaryotic cells, yeast & bacterial cell culture or pellets (gram+ & gram-), biopsies
  • Average yield: Up to 100 μg RNA
  • Extraction time: Approx. 15 - 40 min

innuPREP Micro RNA Kit 

  • Extraction of small RNA molecules (mRNA, tRNA, rRNA and snRNA)
  • Starting material: Tissue, eukaryotic cells, yeast & bacterial cell culture or pellets (gram+ & gram-), biopsies
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and quantity of the starting material Up to 100 µg RNA High recovery rate for small RNA molecules
  • Extraction time: Approx. 15 – 40 minutes

innuPREP DNA/RNA Mini Kit

  • Simultaneous isolation of DNA and RNA from single sample
  • Starting material: Tissue, eukaryotic cells, yeast & bacterial cell culture or pellets (gram+ & gram-)
  • Average yield: Up to 60 µg RNA; up to 40 µg DNA
  • Extraction time: 15 – 40 minutes

innuPREP Blood RNA Kit 2.0

  • Extraction of total cellular RNA from fresh whole blood samples
  • Starting material: Blood, fresh (stabilizers: EDTA or citrate)
  • Average yield: Depends on sample Approx. 1 –8 µg
  • Extraction time: Approx. 45 minutes

innuPREP Plant RNA Kit

  • RNA isolation from plant materials (e.g. leaves, caulis, root, blossom)
  • Starting material: Plants (fresh or frozen plant material)
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and quantity of the sample up to 70 µg
  • Extraction time: Approx. 30 minutes after homogenization

innuPREP cell-free microRNA Kit

  • Designed for extraction of cell-free microRNAs from exosomes and other microvesicles
  • Starting material: Serum, plasma, urine, cell culture (incl. supernatant or medium), microvesicles, exosomes
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and quantity of the sample used
  • Extraction time: Approx. 60 minutes

innuPREP FFPE total RNA Kit

  • Isolation of total RNA with high recovery of microRNAs from FFPE tissue samples
  • Starting material: FFPE (formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded) tissue
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and starting quantity of the FFPE tissue material
  • Extraction time: Less than 1.5 hours (incl. lysis)

innuPREP Virus DNA/RNA Kit

  • Allows for the simultaneous purification of viral ssDNA or dsDNA and ssRNA from various samples
  • Starting material: Serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid (virus), cell culture (incl. supernatant or medium), swabs, stool samples
  • Average yield: Depends on the type and quantity of the sample used
  • Extraction time: Approx. 25 minutes

innuPREP Virus TS RNA Kit

  • Fast manual isolation of RNA from tracheal swabs
  • Starting material: Swab samples (nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal)
  • Average yield: Depending on sample quality/viral load
  • Extraction time: Approx. 25 minutes

innuSOLV RNA Reagent

  • Solution for total RNA isolation from various quantities of different starting materials
  • Principle: Single-step, liquid-phase separation
  • Starting material: Tissue, cell culture (incl. supernatant or medium)
  • Extraction time: Approx. 60 minutes

2) MAGNETIC BEADS BASED EXTRACTION 

innuPREP MP Basic FFPE RNA Kit

  • For fast and efficient isolation of total RNA (including microRNA) from FFPE samples
  • Without usage of toxic solvent
  • No deparaffinisation step needed
  • Starting material: FFPE (formalin fixed paraffin embedded) tissue
  • Extraction time: approx. 120 minutes

innuPREP MP Basic Kit A

  • Bacterial/Viral DNA and RNA extraction from from various cell-free body fluid
  • Starting material: Serum, plasma, saliva, synovial fluids, cell culture (incl. supernatant or medium), swabs, stool samples
  • Extraction time: Approx. 20 min. after lysis

innuPREP Sewage Water DNA/RNA Kit

  • Isolation of DNA and RNA from sewage water samples
  • Extraction from: Viruses, bacteriophages and free-circulating DNA/RNA (e.g. plasmid-associated DNA coding for bacterial resistances) in water
  • Starting material: Sewage water (supernatant and the sediment alone or both combined could be used for extraction)
  • Extraction time: 60 min. including all steps
