1. PrimeScript based kits

This recombinant and modified MMLV reverse transcriptase is efficient preparation of cDNA up to 12 kb in length. PrimeScript is suitable for all applications where full-length DNA is required including cDNA library preparation or RT-qPCT.

Main Features:

  • Works on challenging templates (GC rich templates and templates with high levels of secondary structure)
  • Capable of extending up to 12 kb templates with minimal background
  • cDNA synthesis and extension through complex RNA structure at 42 °C
  • High specificity: reduced mispriming increases reverse transcription efficiency

2. AMV Reverse Transcriptase XL based

AMV Reverse Transcriptase XL enables synthesis of full-length cDNA from single-stranded RNA, DNA, or RNA-DNA hybrid templates. It can be used over a temperature range of 37–55°C, but with optimal temperature between 41–44°C. It can be used for full-length cDNA synthesis from templates of up to 10 kb in length.

Main Features:

  • Synthesize long, full-length cDNA up to 11.7 kb
  • Requires a primer to initiate synthesis and Mg2+ or Mn2+ for activity
  • Get full-length cDNA from single-stranded RNA, DNA, or RNA-DNA hybrid templates
  • It has 5→3' ribonuclease H activity

  • Time saving one-step RT-PCR performed
  • Contains AMV-Optimized Taq DNA Polymerase for efficient cDNA amplification

RNA PCR Kit (AMV) Version 3.0

  • Designed for single tube reverse transcription of RNA to cDNA
  • Allows also amplification of unknown 3'-termini using 3'-RACE
  • Kit contains all reagents for reverse transcription and cDNA amplification and also includes reagents for 3'-RACE

RNA LA PCR™ Kit (AMV) Ver. 1

  • Designed for generation of long first-strand cDNA products (up to 12 kb in length)
  • Protocol is performed in single tube
  • Kit includes Takara LA Taq for cDNA amplification
  • Kit contains all reagents for reverse transcription and cDNA amplification and also includes reagents for 3'-RACE

3. MMLV Reverse Transcriptase based

Recombinant MMLV RT is fully active RT that is free of exogenous RNases and other nucleases, so it prevents template RNA degradation. It allows synthesis of long, full-length cDNA of up to 11.7 kb in length.

Titanium® One-Step RT-PCR Kit

  • For quantitative gene expression analysis from multiple samples
  • Easy to use single tube format
  • Starts even with 10 pg of total RNA
  • Provided as a complete RT-PCR kit (not including reagents for RNA purification)

TWO-STEP VERSIONS:

Advantage® RT-for-PCR Kit

  • Allows analysis of multiple genes from a single RNA source
  • First-strand cDNA synthesis from nanogram quantities of RNA
  • Kit contains all reagents for reverse transcription and cDNA amplification

4. BcaBEST DNA Polymerase based

BcaBEST DNA Polymerase contains both DNA polymerase and reverse transcriptase properties. Optimum reaction temperature of tis enzyme 65°C, thanks to this feature BcaBEST DNA polymerase is suitable for RT-PCR of long or difficult RNA templates. Maximum template length is 5 kb.

  • Single tube protocol
  • Amplifies templates up to 5 kb in length
  • Transcription at an optimum reaction temperature of 65°C
  • Reverse transcription is stopped via enzyme heat inactivation

All needed reagents are supplied in the kit, positive control included

Kit includes random 9-mers or oligo(dT) primers, specific primers need to be added by user
