Targeted RNA-Seq

SMARTer® Target RNA Capture for Illumina kits are dedicated to generate cDNA from enriched total RNA. In the process, user specific biotinylated DNA probes are used to hybridize total RNA in less than 4 hours, and later purified on Capturem beads. TargetedRNA-Seq allows the analysis of transcripts of interest including those resulting from alternative splicing or gene fusion events and uses fewer sequencing reads than would be required in the context of global analysis

• Input: 10 ng - 1µg of total RNA
• Employs biotinylated DNA probes that are designed by the user
• User-designed DNA probes enrich for transcripts of interest

• Recommended for analysis of up to 100 genes per reaction
