Kit for sequencing library preparation from small RNAs
Takara Bio kit incorporates SMART technology (Switching Mechanism at 5’ End of RNA Template) and locked nucleic acids (LNAs). Kit nables preparation of Illumina compatible sequencing libraries starting from total RNA or enruched small RNAs such as miRNAs, siRNAs, piRNAs and snoRNAs. Protocol is ligation-free and small RNA species are represented with minimal bias.
Main features:
- Input: 1 ng–2 µg of total RNA or enriched small RNA
- Suitable for preparation of library from 15–150 nt RNAs (miRNAs, siRNAs, piRNAs and snoRNAs)
- Whole workflow done in ~3 hours
- Library compatible with Illumina platforms
- Ligation free and single tube library preparation
